Short Description: Tom with grey pelt and lighter paws, chin, and underbelly. Jolly and allegiant.
Appearance:
Fogfoot lives up to his name. The tom’s pelt is a grey that’s color resembles soot. But his fur is not purely that color, for the hair on his legs fades to a much lighter color, as will the fur on his underbelly and chin. As if to complete his foggy color scheme Fogfoot’s almond eyes are the same shade of blue-grey as the sky seen through the clouds.Personality:
Fogfoot is of average size and weight for a cat his age, but he almost seems to be compacted without losing any mass. His legs are shorter than average, but they are stockier as well. The same thing goes for his paws and tail. His paws are large, just enough to look a little strange, and his tail is shorter than average, and thicker. His stocky body made it harder to learn how to swim in his apprenticeship, but he learned to get used to it. Fogfoot is quite a good swimmer now, though his hunting skills aren’t top notch. His stockiness makes him a better fighter than a hunter.
Fogfoot considers himself to be plain; definitely not pretty enough to attract the attention of a certain she-cat, but a light in his eyes and a smile are sometimes just enough.
Fog is a very hard thing to pin down; it seems elusive, even stealthy. So one would assume that something named for such an insubstantial thing would be like that, though that guess would be wrong. Fogfoot is the embodiment of warmth and joy. His faith, however blind, in everyone makes him a joy to some, and a nuisance to others.History:
The first and most recognizable trait that Fogfoot possesses is his general exuberance for life. He loves living, especially after watching his parent’s die. That event taught him to look on the bright side. He is cheerful no matter what. This exuberance is a light that rarely wavers, though his moods fluctuate greatly.
Although he learned a good lesson, optimism, from his parent’s death he gained another habit. Fogfoot keeps some of his more harsh feelings inside; he internalizes some of his problems, not wanting to burden others with his struggles. He still tries to be happy all the time, even if it sometimes gets on others nerves.
Fogfoot puts blind faith is anyone and everyone. He automatically believes a person is good and true. This faith is blinding, and Fogfoot has had his share of loss as the people he was faithful to became less then he expected. But he never let this get to him; he still believes the best in people, even if it’s not the best idea.
When Fogfoot cares about someone he’ll do any thing to keep them/it safe. He feels a need to try and protect things, even if they might not always need protection. This goes doubly for a certain she-cat named Violetsky. He cares for her greatly, and wishes that she might like him back. He is fearful that she might fall for someone else.
Fogfoot loves nothing more than to swim to the smaller islands in Lagoonclan’s territory. Because of that, he is a very good fisher, though he is not that good at catching prey on land. He is a decent hunter, though not notably so.
Though he is not the best fighter, nor the best hunter, Fogfoot likes to think that cat’s like him are just as important. He cares about the clan, and its members, and he tires his hardest to keep people happy. His cheerful disposition and loyalty are valuable assets, though his blind faith and internalization of problems bring his value and merit down a bit.
Fogfoot was born to Speckledrock and Cloudfur, two Lagoonclan warriors. There was no scandal at his birth; there was neither a questioning of who his parents were, nor any wonder to where his allegiances would lie, and he was not the product of a forbidden love.IC:
He was born, one of two kits, but his brother died in their first week of their life. Fogfoot was too young to realize that he had lost someone. Speckledrock and Cloudfur, though, were sad that they had lost a son, but glad they still had one left. They named their kit Fogkit for his light grey fur.
He was apprenticed when he turned six moons old as always. Speckledrock worried, as any mother would, that her little kit would be harmed, but Cloudfur was ecstatic that his son was on the way to being a warrior.
Half way through his apprenticeship Fogpaw lost his parents. They were caught in a storm while swimming back to camp and swept to the deepest regions of the lagoon. Despite being from Lagoonclan, and being trained warriors, the winds and tides were two much and they were pushed underwater. It is assumed that they were eaten by a shark or they drowned.
Fogpaw learned of their deaths after the storm, and he was sad, but he learned to look on the bright side of things.
When he was fourteen moons old he was made a warrior. He was given the name Fogfoot for his lighter colored paws.
It was around this time that he realized that he liked Violetsky, and he’s been trying for her attention ever since.
Not right now, I may add one later.Other:
Is his history okay? I wasn’t sure if it would be okay for his parents to die like that, but I still put it in.
Wow, it’s longer than I thought. It’s two and a half pages in word. XD
