Fledora awoke from a mid-morning nap under the shade of a birch tree. She sat up and smoothed down her ruffled fur. She looked around, there was no one within sight of her though she could hear voices shouting, and bird chirping. She had taken her nap away from the other rogues. Fledora pricked her ears and strained to listen. She heard a harsh, low, and deep voice. Her body trembled as her claws dug into the ground. It was her father, Torrent. His voice sent shivers down anyone's spine, including hers, which sent a rush of adrenalin flooding her entire body and raising her spirit. There weren't that many Rogues at the time, but soon there would be. Soon there would be a whole army of Rogues ready to take over the forest. She made a face to herself in disgust as she remembered the way the Clan cats lived. They had the whole forest to themselves. Every square inch. Soon that would all change, she smiled deviously to herself at the thought of an upcoming battle. Her father would lead the Rogues to victory, and then when her father grows old she, Fledora would be the next in line. Her claws sheathed and unsheathed again and again as she thought her menacing thoughts. A low growl came from under her. "Oh quiet you!" she said to her own stomach, pulling her from her thoughts. "Alright then, breakfast time." She stood on her paws and trotted deeper into the small land that the rogues had. Fledora immediately spied a good sized squirrel and instinctively crouched down low to the ground. She stalked forward swiftly and quietly as her belly brushed the earth softly. Her eyes stretched out wide as she was now only a few tail lengths away from the dumb creature. It had it's back to her. Perfect she thought. She tested her balance twice by wiggling her hips and back legs, and then she seized the opportunity that her poor victim had opened for her. She sprang and flashed quickly through the air. She crashed ontop of the squirrel before it realized she was there. It wriggled beneath her body, thrashing around harshly, proving to be a well opponet. She knew squirrels could be nasty creatures and could easily shred a cat to pieces if it was not hunted correctly. But she had been able to practice her technique many times. She bit deep into it's grey scruff holding his head so he couldn't see where to move his arms, though his back legs were still thrashing around violently. She raked all of her paws into it's back, then she tossed it high in the air with her powerful head. It hit the ground hard on it's injured back it tried to scramble away but was in too much pain, and Fledora pounced yet again. She rolled it over on its back and raked all of her claws across his belly this time. It gasped for air and she finished it with a bloody bite to the throat. As her canines sank deep into it's flesh she remembered when she had first been in battle. And how she had killed not one but two cats, stupid enough to defy her father. Oh the satisfactory that came with it! She wasn't just an evil and dark Rogue princess, she was also the most devilish killer ever to be known much like her father. Once she had finished her meal she gave herself a good washing and allowed her thoughts to follow back, like a river exploding through a dam. Not only was she powerful like her father, but she was just as threatening. She vowed to live up to her father's sinister name. And when the time came she would be a fearsome and great leader. She was the becoming leader, after her father. She was the uprising fear known as Fledora.
