Short Description: Doveflight is a breezy white she-cat with cream-colored tabby markings fading into her points. (Points being face, legs, and tail.)
Appearance:
Doveflight is of lean, slender build with a lengthy tail. Her paws are rounded and relatively small, yet supple. A layer of muscle and sinew is hidden by her moderately long and thick fur.Personality:
The she-cat's fluffy pelt is an even alabaster, though a cream-ember shade appears in patchy amounts along her hind legs, forepaws, tail, and the area around her cheeks. Doveflight's ears are likewise capped in this gentle shade of cream. Upon closer investigation, a tabby pattern is visible among the depths of these pale amounts of color.
Frosted blue eyes highlight and enhance her bright appearance, their somewhat pale shade standing out from the backdrop of her coat.
This particular she-cat is known to have a short attention span. She will sometimes be caught nodding as though listening to what another has to say (If it is a matter that she finds no interest in, that is) but in actuality, she is entirely ignoring every word they say. This said, Doveflight is also renowned for pouncing from one course of action to another without any given sign.History:
Despite her lack of attention capabilities, she is empathetic. She makes it a point to better understand the situation others are in, and study this to the very root. It comes as second nature for her to easily pick up on another's feelings and become able to sympathize with them. Additionally, she does everything within her power to calm down or soothe the other.
To better compliment her empathetic nature is her gentleness. She tries to avoid speaking harshly unless the situation calls for such, but even then she is reluctant to do so. Unless it is something that brings out her temper (Which, in essence, is VERY difficult to lure out), she will not speak straight-forth. If she raises her voice, it cracks and is uneven to a degree that exposes her uneasiness of the situation.
Perhaps negative to her personality is her habits. She tends to forget things rather easily, unless she is reminded constantly. It would seem even her calling would be forgotten if she wasn't told everyday.
Another quirk to the splashed canvas we could call her personality, is the fact that she babbles and oftentimes will make matters much more complex and drawn-out than they would be ordinarily. The worst part of this, is she is oblivious to the fact that she's doing it. Even when plainly told to be quiet or that she's looking too much into things, she will behave as though she hadn't heard the adviser.
Yet another negative trait is her ease of being manipulated. One can convert her to their view with significant speed. It doesn't take much to persuade her into anything. Though, she is easy to return to the previous state. The only place where this rule does not apply, is her loyalty to ThicketClan.
The she-cat also has a habit of visiting the medicine cat and offering her help.
The final aspect of her is her protectiveness. She is guardful of her clan, of course, but she is more so protective of kits, queens, and apprentices. Doveflight is the type of cat who, when something happens, checks the nursery and apprentice den before anything else.
Dovekit and Sandkit were born to inter-clan cats. Their mother was from ThicketClan, and their father from PrarieClan. The dam of these kittens was Rushingwater and their sire was Stonefang. Only Dovekit remained in ThicketClan, while Sandkit was taken to PrarieClan.IC:
Their mother claimed that Dovekit's (Sandkit was taken to PrarieClan almost immediately upon birth) father was a tom who had died sometime earlier due to a thunderpath when he mistakenly went too far from the border and near the two-leg place. Stonefang explained she was a kit he found near the border to the two-leg place, hiding the actual identity of the kit.
Stonefang reportedly went missing soon after his kits (Both Sandkit and Dovekit.) were apprenticed and his whereabouts, at this time, are unknown. (No plot behind this. xD He'll never reenter the roleplay, though they [his kits] will refer to him occasionally amongst themselves.)
Almost as though following his lead, their mother disappeared only five moons after he did. It was rumor that she left only when she was certain her kits would be safe and could protect themselves. Dovepaw knew her mother left for a reason, so she wasn't so afflicted when her mother disappeared. Instead, she become curious. She 'interviewed' several cats after the incident to try and concoct a reason for her disappearance. Try as she might, the only conclusion she could come to was this: her mother just suddenly desired to leave.
Whatever the case may be, she looked no longer into the matter and put it behind her entirely.
Dovepaw was noted, during her apprentice days, for a love of being around the medicine cat and helping out. She had wanted to be an apprentice to a medicine cat, but she also knew she was more the make of a warrior than a healer. Not disheartened by this, she strove on eventually became a warrior.
Dovepaw was now Doveflight, a name which reflected her nearly pure white fur as well as her grace. (Or, lack thereof at times)
Doveflight went through the majority of her life up until now not knowing her third sibling, Sandfrost. However, when she first met the she-cat, she knew she was at least related to her mother.
She summoned up the nerve to speak to the she-cat of this matter, and the two of them managed to piece together the story behind their parents. Both were careful of who they told this to, though they were sure their clans already knew.
Doveflight then kept in periodic correspondence with her sister. They met at the border every ten moon-rises, so that they may better get to know one another. Neither of them passed the border, however, as to trespass.
She sat beside the entrance to the medicine cat's den, listening to the faint chirping in the distance and inhaling the fragrance of mixed herbs. If nothing else, the she-cat came to the medicine cat's den for the sole reason of smelling the wonderful herbs.Other:
Her ears were perked forward, eyes peering into the opening that yawned at the base of the tree. She knew the medicine cat had not yet arrived back, but Doveflight wasn't here to consult the medicine cat. She was here for the smell. Later, she vowed, she'd offer her services. Purring came to life in the she-cat's throat and she simply admired the soft sunshine filtering through the treetops above, mottling the forest floor and dappling all that took refuge beneath the leaves.
'It's a beautiful day.' Doveflight thought to herself and sank her claws into a nearby tree, hoisting herself up and beginning to slowly, yet surely, climb the tree. Her destination now, was to hunt.
Not sure if I'm wrong for asking this, but I would prefer if the clan didn't know of their cross-heritage. xD I don't know how a clan would NOT know... but... yeah. D:
Side-note: Sister will not be brought in just yet. For now, only Doveflight will be brought in.
Side-note numero (Er. numbero?) dos - Sorry for throwing them all in ThicketClan. D: I'm trying to manage in one clan before trying to delve in the others. (Simply because I have a tendency to forget about the others. x x So, yeah...)
