Marshpaw saw Willowstride approach, and purred at her comment.
"Well, us lazy tails find it to be hotter outside than the - " he paused, looking at Willowpaw with an overdramatic sigh, " - regulars do. You know, we really do have a worse time than...them." He laughed, rolling around on the ground.

"Yes, they woke me up. I suppose I should have been awake, though..." Solarflare sighed, looking around..." Yes, living underground does give a certain advantage."

Marshpaw grinned and nodded.
"Sure does! That way you don't have to listen to us, and that way you won't yell at us!" he meowed with a purr.
((Grrr, writer's block.))

Solarflare laughed. "I'd be able to sneak up from below too." She laughed. {Writer's Block}

"To wake up a LabrynthClan cat, all you have to do is find the entrance and start yowling your head off as if a shark was chasing you above water," Willowstride mewed, putting up a paw and licking it. "Your voice will echo through the entire tunnels and every cat in there would freak out and start running around as if a mole with teeth had entered their camp," the warrior purred, looking at the two apprentices and the younger warrior. "And if you were a LabrynthClan, they would hear you anyways and still come up to tell you to be quiet,"
((Writer's blocks bunching up everywhere, eh?))

"Oh, well, in that case, I'd rather live here." Willowpaw chimed in. "Who wants to live underground anyways? Plus, I think we have the most beautiful territory in the world. All these islands - I don't even know all their names - but I'd never want to live anywhere else." It was true. Willowpaw had countless memories of the islands, even if she had only been abn apprentice for almost a moon. Sunbathing on Osiris and fishing at the waterford cluster, mostly. She was also very fond of Aquanetta, with its smoooth, bleached white pebbles and big shade trees. She actually had an urge to go there now.

Marshpaw nodded. "I know, we're the best Clan out there," he meowed, sticking his head up proudly. "But I do admit it would be fun to do what Willowstride said - now that would be a great prank."
He nudged Willowpaw with a chuckle, imagining everyone rushing around, freaking out and wondering what was going on. He grinned.
((Haha, I know, I hate it when I have an attack of writer's block. ^^ Anywho, does Solarflare have an apprentice? ;]))

Willowpaw giggled. "Yeah, I could imagine you running around like a headless crow yourself." She mused, whiskers twitching with amusement. Though she couldn't get the imge of terror out of her mind of living in the dark, underground - an almost unnoticable shiver went down her spine, but she shook it of easily.

Marshpaw glared at Willowpaw, but smiled. "I could imagine your fear as us LagoonClan cats invade your camp!" he meowed, then sat down and thought for a moment. "Wait, where would they run? Into their rabbit-like burrows? We could just run in there and trap them - and what if it rains and the tunnels flood?" He shook his head, really glad he wasn't a LabrynthClan cat now.

"ThicketClan wouldn't be that bad ever, with strong legs like those.. But LagoonClan so far seems the best to us; we live here, so of course we say that," Willowstride said quietly, looking out to the river. Her attention was obviously going elsewhere. "But LabrynthClan usually knows their tunnels by heart; they can easily flee somewhere else and find another place to go to for shelter. Who knows, maybe right now LabrynthClan cats are wondering how we can deal with our territory, with rivers everywhere and sharks as well. It would bad if it floods in either of the territories, wouldn't it?" she mewed, her gaze set on Marshpaw and Willowpaw.

Marshpaw nodded slowly, deep in thought. He hadn't thought about LagoonClan's camp flooding, and the thought that something like that actually could happen to them frightened him. When he was younger he used to think that LagoonClan was invincible, that no natural distasters, other cats, other animals, or anything could ever defeat them. Now that he was older, he understood that that could happen, but hearing it was sort of tough. He'd never really been through anything like that. But suddenly Marshpaw sat up high, realizing he would fight for his Clan whenever it needed him.
"Yeah," he meowed finally, "But if our camp does flood, we'll be ready for it. Our warriors are strong and dedicated, and LagoonClan never gives up." He spoke with confidence, but he wasn't fully sure he was 100% correct.

"I'm pretty sure that's what the other clans are saying too, that they never give up," Willowstride purred. "That's how warriors should be.. Now, instead of chatting, should we go hunting so as not to wake everybody else up?" the gray she-cat mewed, knowing that not all cats were like Solarflare. One might just come up and go yowling like an elder.
((You know, I'm getting the feeling that Willowstride is just putting fear into the apprentices ._.
So.. HOW does LagoonClan hunt again?))

Marshpaw nodded, getting excited. "Yeah, let's go hunt!" he meowed. He wanted to get his mind off those thoughts, and hunting was the perfect way to do so. He loved to hunt, especially with friends.
((So can Solarflare be Marshpaw's mentor? =3))

The water, of the once still surface of the lagoon, rippled around the brown and pink nose of the tabby tom known as; Liquidwrath. The rest of his head followed as it bobbed above water. A rather large silver scaled fish was clenched in jaws, teeth cutting through the soft flesh as the fish died slowly. It's mouth opened and closed a few times, eyes wide, until finally it gave up, going limp in between the feline's teeth. Kicking his hind legs, and paddling with his forepaws, he reached the shore to camp, and padded toward the giant wheepingwillow that caverned the heart of their home. Letting the water bead up atop his thin and sleek pelt, he continued, pushing through the low hanging willow branches, the water slowly rolling off his body. Dipping his head to the cats he passed, he finally stopped at the fresh-kill pile and placed the fish with the others. Most of the prey looked the same, shiney, silver, scaley fish.
