((Fish mostly, some water voles, and a few birds every here and there))
"Alright!" Willowpaw chimed, jumping to her feet. She was already pretty good at fishing, and it would be good for her to be hunting withy both her mentor and an older apprentice - plus fun to be with a friend. "Where should we go, Waterford?" The waterford cluster was by far the best fishing spot, though it flooded often.

Marshpaw stood as well, purring with excitement.
"Yeah, where should we go?" he put in, even though Willowpaw just asked it.

Willowstride waved her tail in greeting to Liquidwrath before turning her attention to the apprentices. "So impatient, you two," the gray tabby mewed, but there was the slightest hint of amusement in her snap. "Yes, let's go to Waterford. Willowpaw, you know LagoonClan territory well for a new apprentice. Lead the way," she purred; Willowpaw is her first apprentice, and she was only six moons. The warrior was proud that her apprentice already knew so much about LagoonClan and where everything was.

Marshpaw flexed his claws in the dirt.
"I can't wait to sink my claws into a vole," he meowed.

Willowpaw beamed. It was true, she had a great sence of direction. "Thank you, Willowstride!" She mewed, already bounding to the edge of camp. Lagoonclan camp didn't have a particular exit or entrance - since its walls were the long willow branches that cascaded to the ground, you could just push your way out through a few brances anywhere.

Marshpaw followed after Willowpaw, excited to start hunting. He really wanted to run and strech his legs, to hunt and show off how well he stalked through the underbrush.

"Your welcome, Willowpaw," Willowstride let out a soft purr, following the two apprentices. "Solarflare, are you coming?" she paused for a moment, looking back at the warrior. The she-cat hadn't made it certain if she was joining the hunting patrol or not. Oh well, she would follow if she wanted to come. The gray warrior turned back to the willow branches where the apprentices disappeared into and followed, knowing that another swim was coming her way.

Willowpaw bounced along, the soft grass under her paws turning to sand. And then water. She didn't even pause, or change her pace a tad bit, as the hit the shore line. A few bounds in, and just as the water hit her neck, she started a swift doggy-paddle. Of course thats not what she called it. She smiled at the wonderful feeling of the water combing through her light fur, the way she felt like she was flying. She ducked under the water, swimming underneath for a few strokes, totally engulfed, totally free. She came back up for air and looked around, quickly setting in the direction of The Waterford Cluster.

It took a little longer for Willowstride to be completely submerged into the water; she was bigger than Willowpaw, so that was natural. As she walked down into the water her fur started to absorb the liquid, but not enough to pull her down. Her fur was used to being puffed up by water, and thanks to her regular diet of fish her pelt was sleek enough to endure it too. After a few steps she finally dipped her head under the water and pushed her feet against the sandy floor as it sloped down; this gave her an extra boost in swimming. For a moment she just stayed in the water, allowing the current to take her, the only sound she heard was water roaring through her ears. Then with a great stride of her legs she pushed her head above the water, taking in a breath of air, and began to paddle with her head above the water. The way she swims, that's how Willowstride got her name. She always began swimming like that; first saying underwater, then going up with a single stride of her legs. She just loved swimming like that. With the water roaring it was pointless to say anything, so the warrior just began to swim to the direction of the Waterford.

Marshpaw followed Willowstride and Willowpaw out of camp and to the shore of the island camp. He didn't hesitate as he waded into the water, and soon enough the sandy ground dissapeared from below his paws. He began to push and pull his limbs through the water, imagining he was a duck. He laughed at the picture that popped into his mind of a half-cat-half duck creature. As he did so, he swallowed some water and started coughing. Embarassed, he coughed as quietly as possible a couple more times, then ducked underwater, swimming forward quickly to catch up to Willowpaw in the front. He found he could swim fastest whil underwater. After a few strokes, he popped back up, shaking his head and gazing around. Willowpaw was just ahead of him.
"Race ya to the Waterford!" he cried, pausing only for a moment to draw in a deep breath and dove under, swimming quickly.

"Yea, you two do that," Willowstride mewed, just barely being able to hear Marshpaw. She wasn't even sure if the apprentices could've heard her. She wasn't trying to swim as fast as possible, unlike Basilpaw; it was best to take it steadily when swimming in LagoonClan so that you can concentrate more; the warrior had heard Marshpaw coughing and knew that his attention had gotten away for a moment. She dipped her head under water once more, taking a few strokes in the water, her eyes staring straight ahead. There were fish, avoiding her like maniacs, but she wasn't in the mood to hunt those. After all, they were taking this wild swim just to go to Waterford. Once more she took a single stride to push her head above the water, taking in a quiet, deep breath.

Marshpaw broke the surface and turned around to see Willowstride, right behind him.
"How'd you get up here so fast?" he meowed in astonishment. "I wish I could swim that fast, but my legs aren't long and strong, like yours and all the other warriors',"

For a moment it took Willowstride to merely respond; if she timed it wrong then water would rush into her mouth right away. "Don't worry, Marshpaw," Willowstride said, looking at him with understanding eyes. "When you become a warrior your legs with be like ours, no doubt about it," she mewed. They were reaching the Waterford islands now; they had already passed the thickly forested White Water and Rin Tin Tin was extremely close to them now. Once more she dipped her head under the water, the crisp air blasing into the water in bubbles, rising up to the surface once more.
((Wwaaah @_@ I can't remember LagoonClan territory at ALL! It's so complicated! XDD))

Yawning wildly like a bear, Forestwind stepped out of hi s den, blinking in the warm sunlight. he padded over to his favourite tree, shooting uncomfortable glances at the cats who were chatting wiht each other.
"Good morning Marshpaw, Willowpaw, Willowstride." he murmured in a deep voice, his tail twitching uncomfortably. He cast an anxious look at the cats as he was waiting for them to call him a rude name.
